Privacy
This page describes what amihaitech.com collects, who processes it, and how to have it removed. AmihaiTech, led by Amihai and based in Israel, is responsible for the data described here.
What this site collects
- Analytics: the site runs PostHog to count page views and basic usage (pages visited, referrer, approximate location from IP, browser and device type). PostHog is configured on the EU instance (eu.i.posthog.com), and profiles are only created for identified users, which on this site means nobody browsing anonymously.
- Voice agent: if you start a conversation with the voice widget, the audio of that conversation is processed by VAPI and its real-time infrastructure in order to transcribe your speech and generate a reply. Do not share passwords, payment details, or medical information with the voice agent.
- WhatsApp: if you message the WhatsApp number, the conversation takes place inside WhatsApp and is subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. AmihaiTech sees your phone number, display name, and whatever you send.
- Server logs: the hosting provider records standard web-server logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting.
What this site does not do
- No advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or data sold or rented to anyone.
- No account system, and no login — there is nothing to sign up for.
- No newsletter list built from visits; you are only contacted if you reach out first.
- Fonts are self-hosted, so loading a page does not call a font CDN.
Third parties that process data
- PostHog (product analytics, EU region) — posthog.com/privacy
- VAPI and its real-time audio infrastructure (voice agent conversations) — vapi.ai
- WhatsApp / Meta (messaging, only if you message) — whatsapp.com/legal
- Hostinger (web hosting and server logs) — hostinger.com/privacy-policy
How long data is kept
Analytics events are kept for as long as they are useful for understanding how the site is used, and are not tied to a named person. Project correspondence is kept for the life of the working relationship and a reasonable period afterwards, because it is often needed to support what was built. Voice agent conversations are retained by VAPI according to its own retention settings.
Your choices
- Ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — message the WhatsApp number on the contact page and it will be handled.
- Block analytics entirely with any tracker-blocking extension or a browser Do Not Track / privacy mode; the site works exactly the same without it.
- Skip the voice agent: it never starts a conversation on its own, only when you press the button.
